Scriptures

I wanted to include some scriptures that I find encouraging to confess daily and might be something that applies to whatever you're going through. It is always good to confess God's Word daily. I personally have confession cards I say every morning with specific scriptures. We can benefit from it so much. Saying scriptures is equivalent to standing on His promises. Here are the scriptures:

2 Timothy 1:7~ For God did not give me a spirit of timidity (of cowardice, of craven and cringing and fawning fear) but He has given me a spirit of power and of love and of a calm and well-balanced mind and discipline and self control.

Joshua 1:5, 7, 8~ No man shall be able to stand before me all the days of my life. As God was with Moses, so He will be with me; He will not fail me or forsake me. I am only strong and courageous. This Book of the Law shall not depart out of my mouth, but I will meditate on it day and night, that I may observe and do according to all that is written in it. For then I will make my way prosperous, and then I shall deal wisely and have good success.

Proverbs 4:11-12~ The Lord has taught me in the way of skillful and godly Wisdom; He has led me in paths of uprightness. When I walk, my steps shall not be hampered, my path will be clear and open; and when I run, I shall not stumble.

Proverbs 4:18~ I am on the path of the uncompromisingly just and righteous and it is like the light of dawn, that shines more and more (brighter and clearer) until the perfect day.

Isaiah 26:3~ You will guard me and keep me in perfect and constant peace as my mind is stayed on You, because I commit myself on You, lean on You, and hope confidently in You.

Psalm 59:16~ I will sing of your mighty strength and power; yes, I will sing aloud of Your mercy and loving-kindness in the morning; for You have been to me a defense (a fortress and a high tower) and a refuge in the day of my distress.

Psalm 18:30~ As for God, His way is perfect! The word of the Lord is tested and tried; He is my shield  because I take refuge and put my trust in Him.

Psalm 73:26~ My flesh and my heart may fail, but God is the Rock and firm strength of my heart and my Portion forever.

1 Peter 5:7~ I cast the whole care, all my anxieties, all my worries, all my concerns, once and for all on Him, for He cares for me affectionately and cares about me watchfully.

Psalm 138:8~ The Lord perfects that which concerns me.

Luke 10:19~ The Lord has given me authority and power to trample upon serpents and scorpions; and physical and mental strength and ability over all the power that the enemy possesses; and nothing shall in any way harm me.

Romans 8:37~ Yet amid all these things, I am more than a conqueror and gain a surpassing victory through Him who loved me.

Psalm 139:14~ I praise You because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well.

These are just a few of the many awesome scriptures in the Bible that are vital to confess over ourselves and never forget. I encourage you to search the Bible yourself and find more that speak to you.
